Large ovoid rummer on a lemon squeezer foot the bowl engraved Glatton and the reverse the monogram CC within a circular panel. English c1800.
Bowl dia: 11 cm.
Foot: 7.6 cm square.
Condition: Very good.
Illustrated in Rummers A social History Told in Glass by Timothy Mills 2013, p. 126, fig 114.
Note: Probably engraved for Charles Cobb who took command of HMS Glatton in August 1797 to November 1800.
