About this item
A fine example of a mid 18thc plain stem wine glass, with a waisted bell bowl....it stands on a wide folded foot base and is made of soda glass, which is why it leads me to believe it is continental, probably Dutch...you can also tell by the weight....lead glass is always heavier and has a bluish colour....the glass is in excellent condition...a real collectors piece.
Continental. C1740-60
