About this item
A Baccarat Decanter from the 1920s. An absolutely beautiful decanter – perhaps one of the most outstanding we have ever had. We can’t identify the pattern exactly but we acquired it some years ago from a private collection in Stourbridge that mainly consisted of Baccarat and St Louis pieces. As can be expected from a collector’s item it is in extremely good condition with only the lightest of marking to the base consistent with it being a display piece. The numbered stopper peg is unmarked and the stopper crown is classically Baccarat. Not a large decanter, which adds to its elegance. Probably holds about 70cl (ie. a decanted bottle.) Stunning to look at.
