    About this item

An unusual, 19th century, French copper pot. This is a standard shape for a large saucepan but the handles are quite strange. It is made from an exceptionally heavy gauge of copper, has castellated seams and originally it was tinned Innside. It dates from c.1860 and was probably blacksmith made. Due to the weight of the pan the short handles were put on either side making it easier to manage. Now it would make an attractive jardiniere and would certainly be a good talking point.

    Dimensions: Diameter 24.5cm. Width 43.5cm. Height 19cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £40. Most of Western Europe add £20
