This is an antique tilt top side table. An English, mahogany low wine or afternoon tea table, dating to the early Georgian period, circa 1750.
Beautifully presented Georgian table of low proportion
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Quality stocks show fine grain interest and deep russet hues
Of generous size, the tilting top finished with a gently rolled edge - fastens with brass clasp
Rises and tilts upon a bulbous turned baluster support
Standing upon a trio of wide cabriole legs with pronounced knees and prominent toes
This is an attractive antique tilt top side table, presenting fine colour and finish. Wide of top, but with the low height ideal for use as a wine or side table. Solid joints and construction. Delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
