Two Original Childrens' Carved Wooden Fairground Horses made by Heyn of Germany for a Juvenile Carousel in late 19th century England.
The pair of small 'Dobby' Horses made circa 1880-1890 by German company Heyn would have hung on brass poles on an English Halstead 'Swing-Out' ride. These two small horses surviving from a larger set are in good sturdy condition in their old slightly worn paintwork. with various small imperfections from age and usage. Both horses are for sale in our shop -
One measures 35 inches long x 29 high, (89 x 74 cms) the other 38 long x 25 high. ( 97 x 64 cms).
