This is a stem wound / lever set Hunter pocket watch movement
The movement has a good spring and balance but the balance is a little sluggish
The serial number of this movement is 1470000 and was the first in the run of 47000
Movement – the nickel ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is decorated with damascening. The movement is signed Elgin Nat’l Watch Co, 1470000 and is in 90% mint condition
Dial – the white enamel dial has a seconds hand only and is signed “Elgin”. The dial is in 90% mint condition – some faint hairlines
The movement measures 36mm x 6.66mm
