Large Gold Minute Repeating Wristwatch.
Signed: DEA. Circa: 1920. Diameter: 50 mm.
An early 20th Century Swiss minute repeating lever in a large gold wristwatch. Nickelled split three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, uncut bimetallic balance with spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Push button minute repeating on two polished steel gongs, small rotating visible regulator. Signed white enamel dial marked Minutes, subsidiary seconds, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands.
Large plain gold wristwatch case with glazed back revealing the movement. Rectangular gold lugs attached to short oval pendants both with winding crowns. The crown at six o'clock fixed, present only for visual balance. Gilt push button at three o'clock to actuate the minute repeat. Black grained leather strap.
