Gold and Enamel Stone Set Verge.
An 18th Century Swiss verge in a stone set gold and enamel consular case. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring.
Silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator. Winding through the signed white enamel dial, Roman and Arabic numerals, pierced stone set hands.
Gold consular case, oval cartouche on the back of three colour gold and enamel within a stone set frame surrounded by a border of light green translucent enamel over an engine turned ground.
Outside this a further band of enamelled foliate decoration with applied gold rope band. Stone set front bezel.
