    English Centre Seconds Gold Half Hunter.

    An early 20th Century English centre seconds lever in a gold half hunter case. Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring.

    English table roller lever escapement, screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. Signed white enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel half hunter hands.

    Plain 18 carat half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring, gold cuvette with dedication dated 1917. Maker's mark "JWB Ld" in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.

    Hallmarked London 1914. Signed J W Benson 62 & 64 Ludgate Hill London - By Appointment to HM the Queen.
