About this item
Stunning 19th century Indian alabaster statue of a tiger, c1850. It is finely modelled and carved and has lovely original paint , principally in gold, red and black which beautifully highlights the stripes and features of the Tiger. Overall condition is good with just the right amount of wear to the paint etc. There is a very small chip to the tip of one ear but it is hardly visible. Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to view the item.
