A stunning hand carved 2.2 lb tiger's eye sculpture depicting dragon chasing a pearl in the late Qing dynasty style. The four-clawed dragon under the auspicious clouds has one front talon below its subject, a flaming pearl, while the other three are firmly planted on the ground. The head strains forward with mouth open in a roar between back-swept whiskers and below bulging eyes, the back of the sinuous body coiled continuing to the tail. A symbol of power and prosperity. Beautiful tiger's eye gemstone with fantastic iridescence is 100% all natural. Superb craftsmanship. Custom wooden stand.
