    Fine quality mid 20th.c. French Louis XV style writing table c.1950. Oval top with a serpentine edge with raised brass edge moulding. Over a writing slide with a tooled green leather surface and a drawer at one end. Highly figured tulipwood veneers arranged to make a symmetrical pattern across the top and sides with crossbanded borders. Shaped apron and very elegant slim shaped and moulded legs with crisp brass mounts at the feet. Oak drawer Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
