This is a period Art Nouveau coal scuttle, an antique Victorian fireside bin in iron. Bronzed finish over iron bowl. Impressive high relief pressed lid over voluminous storage. Featuring free-form garlands and sprays framed in decorative bands. Hinged for easy access to the large pot beneath. Featuring a 'duck head' garland handle. Standing upon a tripod of out-swept legs with foliate mounts.
A real fireside statement piece ideal for coal, kindling or ash. Delivered ready for the home.
