Large Superb Quality Late 19th Century Gesso Floral Moulded Picture Antique Mirror Frame

This is a superb quality large 19th Century deeply moulded gesso gilt picture or mirror frame with a fabulous raised foliate-designed gadrooned border.

The piece retains the original gilt finish and it is offered in an overall first-class original condition.

It can be hung in either the portrait position or the landscape position.

Note: If a little further space is required the inner gilt slip can be removed giving a rebate of Height 41.6'' (105.6cm) x Width 25.7'' (65.2cm)

It is of excellent colouration and patina, this beautiful period frame will be great for either a mirror or a prized work of art.
