Description:
A beautiful quality large Vintage Glazed Bow-Front Cased Taxidermy display of a fabulous Rainbow & Brown Trout.
Mounted in 1981 and attributed to the renowned 20th Century Fish Taxidermist 'Peter Stone'.
The beautiful all-original piece is mounted within the super quality Bow-fronted 3-sided glazed case including 3-rows of gold writing that reads:
''Rainbow Trout 12Ibs 8oz Avington
Brown Trout 5Ibs 2oz Ivel Valley Fishery
Caught By Bob Church 1981''.
The case can be either hung on the wall or placed on a tabletop.
The Trout are depicted within a riverbed naturalistic setting with reeds and gravel.
This is an extremely fine quality specimen that is original and of a wonderful large size.
A fine quality piece and a great addition to any taxidermy collection.
Condition : The piece is in an overall exceptional original condition commensurate with its approximate 41 years of age.
