Mounted within the original quality gilt moulded frame.

There are beautiful details throughout the painting including the wonderful depiction of the Sun setting skyline, together with small bothy type buildings, and the surrounding trees.

It is a beautiful subject matter, and the artist has captured the mood wonderfully.

Condition : Offered in a wonderful original condition commensurate with age. There are a handful of tiny paint chips/losses, mainly around the area of the left-hand tree, and these appear to have been touched in by an amateur, however, these minute imperfections are mentioned more so for accuracy, as they certainly do not detract from the overall presence of this very fine painting.
