    An 18th Century Swiss verge in paste set gold and enamel pair cases. Full plate fire gilt movement with pentagonal baluster pillars.

    Pierced and engraved masked cock with garnet endstone, pierced and engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates.

    Plain three arm gilt balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Signed white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, decorative stone set hands. Plain gold inner case, gold pendant and bow, number corresponding to that on the movement.

    Gold outer case, the front bezel set with a row of pastes, paste set button. Oval three colour gold cartouche of foliate decoration surrounded by a dark blue enamel border.
