Blue Printed Egg Cup Stand

An early 19th century, blue and white, transfer printed egg cup stand. This is printed with a scene showing horsemen, and Middle Eastern characters in front of a castle. It is English and dates from c.1820. Originally there would have been six egg cups which sat on the comport. There is a metal rod which holds the handle in place and goes through to the underside. This must have been put in place during the manufacture as it would be almost impossible to have done it since. The piece is in very good condition.
