About this item
A beautiful, ruby overlay, crystal ice bucket with a pair of silver plated ice tongs. This is made by Val St. Lambert and dates from the 1950’s. It is marked “VAL ST LAMBERT BELGIQUE” to the base. The crystal is super quality and the design is really attractive and typical of the period. It is in excellent, usable condition.
Val St. Lambert had various glassworks in Belgium, producing superb quality crystal. The company started in the 1820’s and the height of their production was between 1901 and 1914 when they had over 5000 people working there.
Dimensions: Height 11.8cm. Diameter 12cm.
