About this item
A three part, pewter, ice cream mould with a very well detailed group of fruits to the top above fluted sides. This type of mould is often referred to as a banquet mould. It is marked, to the inside of the base, with “NO 9” above a registered design kite mark which dates the registration of the design to 1868. There are no manufacturers marks but this design was registered by Benhams and the mould dates from c.1870. There are a number of scratch marks to the top and sides, from use. These are from where the mould has been gripped by something in order to pull the sections apart. Otherwise it is in good condition. The exterior has quite a dark patina and the interior is in very good, bright, usable condition.
Dimensions: Height 15.5cm. Diameter 10cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £30. Most of Western Europe add £15
