    About this item

A set of pretty, reclaimed, antique fire tiles likely to date to C.1900. The set comprises of 10 tiles and are designed to sit with 5 on either side of a cast iron tiled fire, but could be used for other interior design projects. The tiles have a pretty design that runs down the length of each group of 5 tiles, featuring dark yellow flowers and a green stem, in the style typical of the era. The back of the tiles have a makers stamp and "Reg England". The tiles are original antiques and have some signs of age and some damage. One top tile has a large knock to one of the side edges. The other tiles have some small chips and knocks. There is extensive crazing and cracking to the tile glaze. The tiles have some smoke marks and stains and the backs of the tiles have smoke residue. There is some concrete or filler residue on the sides of some tiles. Please see pictures for condition details. The tiles have a very pretty period design and would be perfect for adding character to a cast iron tiled fire or to add character and charm to a home project.

    Each tile 15.5cm x 15.5cm
