This is a classic rail road grade pocket watch by the Hamilton watch company.

The watch is working and keeping good time but has not been cleaned or serviced by us

Movement – this is a model 2 ¾ plate nickel movement with a lever escapement and a micrometer regulator. The movement has gold jewel settings and gold train wheels. The movement is decorated with slanted striped bar damascening – the model 2 variant and is signed “Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster, Pa, 21 Jewels, 992, Adjusted 5 positions, Double Roller” # 2473360. The movement is in 90% mint condition – some small marks and scratches

Case – the movement comes in a 10K rolled gold plate open face case, which has a screw off back and bezel. The case has a patent fixed bow and is signed “Hamilton Railroad Model”. The case has milled sides and a smooth plain finish on the back. and is in 75% mint condition – obvious wear with bruises and dents on the back and some traces of metal coming through on the sides plus the back and front bezel are stiff to screw on and are prone to cross thread if you force them

Dial – the white enamel dial is double sunk and has a superb pair of blue steel hands. The movement is signed “Hamilton” and is in 99% mint condition

The watch is stem wound / lever set

The watch measures 50mm wide x 14mm deep
