Quarter repeater pocket watch movement by Le Comte c1870

This pocket watch movement has a good balance and spring but will only tick under pressure. The movement has a slide activated quarter repeater function which works with a good tone but is sluggish to chime

Movement – the gilt bridge movement has a cylinder escapement and is signed “Le Comte, Geneve”. The movement has a slide activated quarter repeater function with steel hammers and gongs. The movement is in 90% mint condition

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “`le Comte, Geneve”. The dial is in 80% mint condition – multiple hairlines on the bottom half of the dial plus a small nick on the enamel at 9.

The movement measures 43mm x 7mm
