This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This is a beautiful fob.
It is a charm size and perfect to put on a charm bracelet or add to a few more pieces to make an interesting pendant
The gilt seal has a multi sided carved base set with a green stone. The stone is engraved with the intaglio of highly detailed Snake and the word “SPERO” – Latin for Hope
The seal has a carved base and a strut handle topped with a suspension loop and split ring
The seal measures 19mm x 10mm x 9mm and is in 95% mint condition – superb condition
