About this item
An aged, reclaimed oak beam. The beam is thick and chunky with a fantastic rustic appearance. The beam has a waxed finish giving the wood an attractive colour and shine. The beam has a lovely reclaimed, rustic, look and has character signs of wear and age. One end is thinner and has an uneven edge. The beam has some rough edges, notches and two holes. There are some surface splits that do not affect the structural integrity of the beam. There are some colour variations in the oak. Please see pictures for details. The beam is solid and heavy and ideal for an inglenook fireplace or rustic home project.
