About this item
A long reclaimed oak beam. The beam has a very rustic appearance with interesting characteristics, a nice wood grain and signs of age. The edges and sides are uneven and not very square, giving a lovely rustic appearance. The beam has been cleaned and it has a nice colour. The beam is in good solid condition but has some signs of wear, use and age as expected of reclaimed items. There are some splits and surface cracks. There are some holes, notches in the wood, knocks, damage and natural wear. The oak has some colour variation. The edges and sides have unevenness and are not square. One end has a notch and the other end is tapered with damage. There is evidence of woodworm. Please see pictures for condition details. The beam is of a nice size and has a great look, ideal for a rustic home project.
