About this item
A long, thick, reclaimed pine beam. The beam has a very attractive rustic appearance with interesting characteristics, a nice wood grain, character knots and signs of age. The edges and sides are uneven and not very square, giving a lovely rustic appearance. The beam has been cleaned, waxed and polished giving it a very nice finish. The beam is in good solid condition but has some signs of wear, use and age as expected of reclaimed items. There are some deep splits and surface cracks. There are some holes, notches in the wood, knocks, gouges and natural wear. The pine has some colour variation. The edges and sides have unevenness and are not square. There is some evidence of woodworm but it has been treated. Please see pictures for condition details. The beam is of a nice size and has a great look, ideal for a rustic home project.
