This is an antique schoolmaster's hand bell. An English, bronze and walnut ringer, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.
Delightfully patinated hand bell, with fine decorative appeal Displays a desirable aged patina throughout, some splitting to handle with age Bronze bell with superb weathered appearance and wide, flared rim Turned walnut handle shows deep chestnut hues and fine grain interest Easily discernible ring with a prominent cast iron clapper
This is a pleasing antique schoolmaster's bell, as useful today as it was nearly 200 years ago. Distinctively weathered bronze and quality, turned handle. Delivered polished and ready to enjoy.
