About this item
These cushions are made from a vintage Banjara bag. The Banjara are a semi nomadic ethnic group originating from Rajasthan. The textile is made from layers of thin cotton quilted together using very decorative herringbone stitch. The top layer of fabric is a block print from Balotra which was originally a blue indigo but has now faded and is more of a grey blue. I've backed the cushions with a plain heavy linen and there are zip fasteners and feather pads.
