About this item
I love these little cushions as they are so typical of the beautiful weaving found in Lao. The textile pieces have been rescued from a mattress cover. The handloomed cotton is decorated with a floating supplementary weft in indigo which is delightfully faded. The textile is very soft and some of the indigo threads are a bit loose so I recommend these cushions as decorative rather than for heavy use. I've backed the cushions with another indigo handloomed textile from the same region which is a good marriage. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
