Shibori and Songjiang cushions
These pretty cushions are made from a contemporary cotton textile hand-dyed using a shibori technique from Yunnan, SW China. The colours are natural dyes and are a lovely vibrant indigo whit a rust or terracotta coloured contrast. The shibori leaves the cotton with a lovely texture as the tyeing of the cloth for the resist dye leaves little peaks on the surface. I've piped the edges and backed the cushions with an indigo pinstripe handloomed Songjiang textile, which works beautiully.
There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
