About this item
This cushion is made from the central panel of a Dai minority wedding blanket. The handwoven blanket is coloured with natural dyes, indigo and senna. It dates to the middle of C20 and has a loveley aged patina. It has been through the washing machine so is clean and strong. I've backed the textile with plain linen and added blue tassels at the corners. It would look fabulous on a bed or low backed sofa.
