Obverse: HOMO · PROPONIT · DEVS · DISPONIT · (Man proposes; God disposes), father, mother, and two children kneeling left on ground line in prayer; above, radiance emanating from clouds above; • 1588 • in exergue.
Reverse: + HISPANI · FVGIVT · ET · PEREVT · NEMINE · SEQVETE (the Spaniards are in flight and perish with no one in pursuit), ship under sail right, breaking up.
