This is a medieval silver penny of King Henry III, struck at the Canterbury Mint between 1250-1272 AD. ҺЄHRICVS RЄX III, (King Henry III) crowned facing bust holding sceptre. The Moneyer who struck the coin was called Robert, his name and mint are found on the coin's reverse. +ROBERT.ON.CANT(Robert of Canterbury) voided long cross with pellet at the centre and three pellets in each quarter. This is a Class 5h.
