About this item
These beautiful gold cushions are made from and early C20 Zhuang wedding blanket. I have described them as gold but soft tones of bronze and green may be more accurate. Anyway its a wonderful colour from natural dyes and is soft and muted. I've backed the cushions with a rare dark Songjiang textile, which was handwoven on a 13" loom. Therefore i have joined two pieces together to get the desired width. The dark backing fabric frames the gold beautifully. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
Ive made 3 cushions 16" x 24" and one cushion 15" x 24"
