About this item
These cushions are made from vintage ikat from Flores, Indonesia. The textile was originally made into a sarong which I have repurposed for cushions. It dates to the middle of C20 and is hand woven with cotton yarn that's coloured with natural dyes. The colours and pattern are varied and beautiful. Predominantly indigo and a reddish brown, there are also strips of teal and a wonderful pale blue colour. I've backed the cushions with a complementary dark indigo cotton that has been taken from the back of a minority bedcover.
There are zip fasteners and feather pads
