    About this item

A very finely potted, 18th century, pierced creamware curd cheese mould. The three tiered form is pierced with circular holes which make up geometric shapes. We have had examples of this mould before and they were marked Wedgwood but this one does not bare a mark.

There is a hairline crack which runs from the rim to the top of the lower tier and there is a small chip on the top tier. This can be seen in the images. Otherwise it is in good condition.

    English, probably Wedgwood. Date c.1790.

    Dimensions: Length 20.6cm. Width 13.2cm Height 9.7cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. and most of Western Europe. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20.
