    About this item

A nineteenth century, ironstone jelly mould. This design of mould was often used in conjunction with an advert for Brown and Polson’s Cornflour Blancmange but this example doesn’t bear the printed advert. The interior design is geometric, with two tiers of rounded topped columns and a marquee style top. It is heavily potted, in ironstone and dates from c.1890. There are some indistinct impressed numbers to the base but no manufacturers marks. There are a couple of small firing lines in the top of the mould, which can only be seen on the inside. Otherwise it is in very good condition.

    Dimensions: Length 16.5cm. Width 12.8cm. Height 11.6cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
