About this item
A super quality, 19th century, Sunderland lustre plaque. This is decorated with a black transfer print titled “THE TOKEN, OR JACK’S SAFE RETURN TO HIS TRUE LOVE”. The print is coloured with polychrome enamels and the plaque has a lovely, pink splash lustre border. There is also some fine, moulded detail to the rim. The piece is well potted and it dates from c.1820. It is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Length 22cm. Height 19.7cm. Depth 3.2cm.
