    About this item

    An early 19th century, creamware mould with exotic fruits to the base. The design in this mould is deep and well detailed and the fruits look like lychees. It has a wrythen, fluted border and a stepped base. It is well potted, has a yellowish glaze, and it dates from c.1810. There is a hairline crack to the rim, which is about 5cm. long, and there are also a few small chips to the exterior of the rim. There is minor staining in the base of the mould.

    Dimensions: Length 19.5cm. Width 14.2cm. Depth 10cm.
