About this item
A small, earthenware mould with a pineapple to the base. The pineapple was the Georgian symbol of welcome and this mould would probably have been used, for an individual starter, to welcome your guest to the table. It is marked 'COPELAND' and it dates from c.1860. It is in excellent condition.
