    About this item

A very fine, small, 18th century, creamware mould with a basket of fruit to the base. This mould is very finely potted, with a rich yellow glaze, and it sits on two small peg feet. The moulding to the design is extremely well detailed and this is a charming little mould. The basket of fruit is surrounded by a border design which is known as the egg and dart, or loop and pin, design. It dates from c.1780.
