    About this item

    A small, early 19th century, creamware mould in the form of a chicken. This is quite heavy for creamware but it does have excellent detail in the moulding. It is possible made by Spode, although it is unmarked. We have had the identical moulding in the past which has been marked and the potting is typical of their moulds from the 1820’s.

    Dimensions: Length 8.2cm. Width 5.5cm. Height 4.6cm. 

    Condition: Excellent.

    English: Date c.1820.
