    About this item

    An unusual, Wedgwood creamware mould with an artichoke to the base. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it is also impressed with the pattern number “551”. It dates from c.1820. The design consists of a very well detailed globe artichoke flower to the base with narrow fluting to the sides. There is a glaze crack in the base which has resulted in a small stain, and there are three very tiny chips on one of the inner rims. 

    Dimensions: Length 14.3cm. Width 10cm. Height 9cm.
