About this item
A rare, 19th century, Wedgwood pearlware mould depicting a cockerel in a farmyard. This is a fabulous design with excellent detail to the moulding. It shows a large cockerel in the foreground, surrounded by chickens, with thatched farm buildings in the background. Unfortunately there is considerable damage to the mould but it is well worth preserving due to the rarity and quality of the design. It is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it is also impressed with the pattern number “319”.
