About this item
A rare, early 19th century, Wedgwood creamware mould depicting hanging game. This is an interesting design, with excellent detail to the moulding, and it is quite lightly potted. It shows a wild duck and other game birds hanging. It is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it is also impressed with the pattern number “277”.
Dimensions: Length 16.2cm. Width 13cm. Height 5cm.
Condition: Very good, with just very slight glaze rubbing to the highpoints of the design.
English: Date c.1810.
