    About this item

A small, earthenware mould with a lyre to the base. This is marked “WEDGWOOD’” and there are some other impressed marks but they are all very indistinct. It dates from c.1850. The lyre design is well defined and this is surrounded by a band of laurel.

Unfortunately the mould has seen better days. There is staining to the rim which is mostly in the glaze and there is also a crack on the rim where the mould has taken a bump but the chip has not yet come out. There is also kiln grit within the mould which would most likely prevent any contents from turning out easily.

    Dimensions: Depth 4cm. Diameter 7.5cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £15. Most of Western Europe add £8.
