About this item
Superb example of a Victorian cast iron cathedral conservatory heater of hexagonal spire form. Beautiful detail and pierced decoration throughout. A decorative conversation piece for your home wether it be the conseravatory, study or garden. This particular piece dates from 1891 after researching the design registration number (Rd no.).
Condition commensurate with age and use. Previously used as an outdoor feature hence some surface rust. Would have had red arched church glass around the inner (hence the cathedral name) . In good solid condition. Light fitting is for photographic reasons and not part of the sale.
