Wonderful heraldic lion form and historically painted to distinction Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout In cast iron with a charming hand-painted finish in vibrant colour Appealing detail to the flowing mane and powerful body Raised upon a vault base with scroll shield motif Of good heft, with a weight of 3.33kg (7.34 lb)This is a dashing antique decorative Lion Rampant doorstop, with a pleasing weight and of good proportion.
